EAC Certificate. Certificate of Conformity in Customs Union
Customs Union Certificate of Conformity is needed for exporting certain group of products. Currently there are nearly 30 Technical Regulations and for the products covered in these regulations, either certificate or declaration must be issued. EAC Certificate stands for EurAsian Certificate formerly known as Customs Union Certificate
What products are covered by the Certificate of Conformity
Depend on a regulation which applies different products must be certified in a form of certification. For example:
- some children clothes;
- lingerie, underwear;
- household electronic equipment;
- lighting equipment;
- pressure devices;
- devices working in explosion proof areas;

How to obtain Certificate of Conformity
Contrary to obtaining the declaration of conformity in Customs Union, applying for certificate is more complicated procedure. Usually the samples of the products must be sent to laboratory and in case of serial production for more than one year factory inspection might be needed. Lead time of issuing certificate is 2 weeks. Price of single shipment certificate starts from 600 EUR.
